Meeting the Challenge: European Perspectives on Latin examines four particular aspects of Latin teaching, including the place of Latin in the modern curriculum, exploiting information and communications technology in Latin teaching, methods for teaching learners to become confident readers of original texts and ways to promote Latin in the future.
Meeting the Challenge provides important insights into the theory and practice of Latin teaching in a wide range of contexts. All the authors are experienced teachers at school or university level and come from seven different countries: Belgium, England, Greece, Holland, Italy, Switzerland and the United States.
